MY FELLOW RETRO GAMERS
Visit to vote on the best games polls, stay for the awesome retro gaming community and articles, reviews, collecting tips, and more. Site was created by the one and only Chief Peisinoe, one of my oldest friends on the retro gaming scene.
Thankfully for us, Tom finally has a home base for all his writings on video gaming (I think he contributes on at least a dozen sites). Tom is on a mission to collect and review every N64 game and is writing about his adventures. Within a week of reading his work you will no longer be able to talk about Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time without Tom coming to mind--which is a good thing.
The AUS Retro Gamer has one of the greatest video game collections I've seen. He's a lover of all consoles retro, and don't forget about He-Man. Contrary to popular belief, he is not Paul Hogan's nephew.
The Nintendo Legend is on a mythic quest to review every NES game made in America. He has an unrivaled passion for Nintendo and is known by some to be the godfather of retro gaming on Twitter. He is also the Editor-in-Chief at 1MoreCastle.com
Do you love Simpsons, Super Metroid, poker, and the NHL? Visit the one and only Chris Septicor's site.
A retro gaming site covering all consoles with great depth, insight, and hilarity. 1 More Castle is the All-Star team of retro gaming writers, and also deliver an awesome podcast each week. It is also rumored the staff is recreating the movie The Wizard. My two favorite features are Atari Poop and The Fair Shake.
Syd Lexia's site is described as "A Descent Into Pop Culture Madness." I feel like I learn something new each time I visit while laughing my ass off. With help, Syd created the two best Top 100 lists for NES and SNES games. You need to check it out.
NESguide.com has it all--box covers, pictures, intros, and gameplay videos for every Nintendo game. If you're looking to buy some unknown NES gems or want to become reacquainted, the videos are awesome.
NESMAPS.com Get maps and sprites for a ton of NES games. This site was essential to me finally beating The Legend of Zelda with their dungeon maps.
